MEDITATION

Meditation is the act of allowing your mind, body and spirit to tap into each other and connect. Through these connections you’re able to raise your vibration (energy) level. By doing this, you reach a state of Nirvana where you feel high and/or giddy.
To do this, concentrate on a specific energy or idea. Allow your three bodies to come together and expand. When you hear of people meditating on a question, they’re allowing themselves to quiet their minds and become one with their spiritual bodies so they establish a direct connection to God and their angels.
In this meditative state, you can ask your questions and get an answer. It takes consistent, dedicated practice to get to the point where you can completely shut out all the background noise of daily life. But when you’re able to block out everything and focus on becoming one with yourself is when your true spiritual journey begins..
So let’s get you on your way…
During some meditation sessions, you may hear the leader say envision, picture, or imagine. What this means is to paint a mental image of the scenario. The more you practice this discipline, the better you will be at meditation and seeing things from a spiritual perspective.
For example, "Picture someone you love standing in the center of the room. Picture the color of their hair, envision the color of their clothes, picture them smiling, and imagine them waving at you."
That’s easy enough, isn’t it?
So let’s get started…
Meditation for Beginners (Beginner)
Sit somewhere comfortable but not somewhere where you will fall sleep. When you're comfortable, tilt your head slightly upward. Look upward a little bit so you’re looking at the center of the ceiling. Now, close your eyes and imagine yourself standing in the center of the room. Imagine a beam of brilliant gold light coming down, entering at the top of your head, and flowing down to the very bottoms of your feet. Allow this energy to fill up your body.
As this happens you may feel the top of your head start to tingle or get warm. You may start to feel your hands and feet start to get warm and tingly, too. Or you may not feel anything happening at all; that is perfectly OK, too. There is nothing to worry about. Everybody feels energy differently, and you may just need to practice a little bit more.
Allow the gold light to permeate every cell in your body. Allow this energy to release all of the tension you have built up in your body. As this happens, you will feel yourself starting to relax. The more you allow yourself to relax, the deeper into meditation you will go.
Sit here and feel the calmness as the energy comes over your body. Allow yourself to relax deeper and deeper into meditation. You can stay in this space as long as you like and you can do this meditation as often as you'd like.
Rainbow Meditation (Beginner)
When I was a kid, I used to lie in bed and meditate. This is one of the meditations I used to do all the time to help visualize and learn how to allow.
Sit somewhere comfortable, somewhere you can relax but you won't fall asleep… preferably on a chair or in some other upright position. Place your hands in a palms-up position on your lap or on the armrest of the chair. Put both of your feet flat on the floor.
Now, envision a beam of white light coming down from heaven and entering through the top of your head. Allow it to flow all the way down to the very bottoms of your feet and fill you up from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head.
Now, allow a beam of gold light to come down from heaven as it hits the top of your head. Allow it to wrap around your body. Sit here for a moment and allow the white and gold light to blend and melt all the darkness out of your body
When you’re ready to move on, envision a rainbow connecting from your right hand arching above your head and connecting to your left hand.
Focus on this for a moment. Allow the energy of the rainbow to build. When you're ready for the next step, allow the rainbow’s energy to enter your left hand, filling up your arm and flowing down the left side of your body. When the left side of your body is full of rainbow energy, allow the energy to arch out of the bottom of your left foot and enter the bottom of your right foot and flow up the right side of your body to brighten the right side of your body.
Allow the energy to flow in this circle for a little while, from your right hand arching over your head to your left hand and down the left side of your body and out your left foot arching over to your right foot and up the right side of your body. Allow this energy to permeate every cell of your body.
Allow this energy to push all the darkness out of your body and replace it with rainbow energy. As this happens you may feel calmness come over your body and you may feel like you’re melting into your chair. You will feel happy and extremely relaxed.
Meditation for Awakening Your Third Eye (Intermediate)
You and I—everyone, in fact—were born with our third eyes activated, or open. Over the years your third eye may have been spiritually blocked, or you may have mentally turned it off because of the way you were raised. Your parents were probably like mine. They raised you to the best of their abilities, so they told you there was no monster in your closet or under your bed and there was no such thing as an imaginary friend and that all this was just a part of your imagination. To let you in on a little secret, there probably was a monster in your closet and a monster under your bed—and your imaginary friends were there, too. Your imaginary friends were most likely angels or loved ones who had passed away and came back to play with you, so you wouldn't be lonely. So let's get you back up to speed.
Sit down somewhere comfortable. Clear your mind and envision a beam of gold light entering from the top of your head and flowing all the way down to the very bottom of your feet. Allow the energy to fill your body from your feet all the way up to the top of your head.
Sit here for a second and allow the energy to build.
Now, envision another beam of gold light coming down and entering through the top of your head and flowing down to all of your chakras.
Now take one of your hands and place a couple fingers on the center of your forehead. This is where your third eye is located. Now I want you to tap four times, then pause and project blue light, then tap four more time, and project more blue light, then tap four more time, and to finish it off, project more blue light into your third eye.
Congratulations…
You just opened your third eye. Your head should feel slightly tingly, oddly clear and a little warm on the inside. Allow yourself to sit where you are. Relax and sink into the feeling of having your third eye open.
This meditation is something you can do as often as you like or as little as you want.
Meditation for Getting and Receiving Your Child Spirit (Intermediate)
Sit somewhere comfortable and relax. Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth. Do this three more times … in through your nose… out through your mouth,. As you inhale, imagine gold light entering your nose and imagine all the negative energy being exhaled out of your mouth.
Now that you’re centered, let’s begin.
Imagine you are standing on a beach listening to the waves crash on the shore. You hear the laughter of children playing in the water. Feel the warmth of the sun on your face and on your arms. Now, walk out into the water so the water comes up to your knees. Stay here for a while to enjoy the warmth of the water on your legs. Allow the water to wash any and all of your worries and concerns away as you’re standing here.
Now, if you’ll look to your left you’ll see God and your child spirit holding hands. Walk over to where they are and ask God for your child spirit. You'll see him pick your child spirit up and hand him or her over.
Now, allow your child spirit to enter your body. Tell God thank you for your child spirit.
As your child spirit enters your body you will feel a surge of calmness, freeness, happiness and laughter. Take a moment to enjoy life as a child. Whenever you are stressed, overworked, overwhelmed or just looking for an answer, come to this place. Talk to God and your child spirit.
This is a place of clarity and a place you should feel at home. As you leave the water you will see two beach chairs. One is for you. The other is for God. This is where you can ask your question or where you can just relax. You can hang out here as long as you like and play in the water or build sandcastles, whatever appeals most to you whenever you come here. Feel free to come back as often as you like.
Meditation for Getting to Know God (Advanced)
Get comfortable. Close your eyes. Tilt your head back slightly and envision a beam of baby blue light coming down from the Milky Way galaxy and entering the top of your head and engulfing your entire body. Allow this energy to permeate every cell in your body.
Now imagine you’re sitting on a dock, looking out over the Gulf of Mexico feeling the sun as it shines down on you. Feel the wind in your hair. Hear the clanking of the ropes as they’re blown against the mast of nearby sailboats. Hear the birds chirping as they fly by.
Now as you look over to your right side, you will see God sitting there holding a fishing pole. Some of you may see God reeling in a fish, pulling the line out of its mouth, then kissing it and putting it back into the water.
Now some of you all may think I'm mistaken because I had said God was pulling the line out of a fish’s mouth but I'm not. God doesn't use fish hooks. The fish play tug-a-war when they see the line in the water and they bite it. God reels them in and releases them back into the water.
Again, God throws the line out into the water. The fish latches onto it and swims around while. God reels it in. When it’s close enough for God to pick it up, he does. He scratches its stomach, kisses it and puts it back into the water. God loves all of his creations.
This is a place where you can ask God anything and everything that you’ve ever wanted to know. You can ask him while sitting on the dock or you can come here just to hang out and have a few laughs.
God is very calm, very understanding. He’s just like you and loves to laugh and have a great time. While you're sitting here, ask him to tell you a joke. He loves to make other people laugh. You can stay here with God as long as you want and come back as often as you want.
Take your time and relax.
Buddha Tree of Life Meditation (Advanced)
Start by getting comfortable, closing your eyes take four deep breaths. Envision gold light entering your body through your breath every time you inhale. When you exhale, envision all of the darkness leaving your body. With every inhale through your mouth, feel your body getting brighter and lighter and with every exhale, allow your body to release all the tension you have accumulated.
Now envision a beam of gold light coming down from heaven and filling up your body, filling up your body from the tips of your toes to the top of your head.
Now envision another beam of gold light coming down from heaven and hitting the top of your head and then wrapping itself around your body in a clockwise manner.
Now envision another beam of gold light coming down from heaven and entering the top of your head and flowing down to your chakras and filling each one with light.
Now that you’re in your brightened state and you have positive energy flowing through your body, imagine you’re sitting on top of the earth, and that both you and the earth are glowing in a golden light. As you sit here in this moment, allow the energy to activate the seed to your tree of life.
As you sit here allowing the energy to activate the seed, you may feel a tingling or warm sensation in your root chakra, located in your groin area. Now, imagine you have Gold roots growing out of your root chakra. Allow these roots to engulf the earth, filling it up so much that they’re reaching out the bottom side of the Earth. Allow these roots to fill the earth with Love, Laughter, Happiness, Joy, and Success.
Envision or imagine the tree of life growing up through the center of your spine and activating all seven of your chakras and, finally, reaching out through the top of your head.
Envision the tree growing up healthy, strong, and tall it’s canopy opening far and wide, filling the entire sky with every leaf, branch, flower and fruit.
Allow gold light to come down from heaven and penetrate every cell of the tree and every cell of your being. Allow the energy to flow to the very tip of every root, and allow the energy to seep out the roots and fill every cell of the earth.
Allow this golden energy to activate your canopy. Allow it to bring brilliant colors and life to every leaf, flower and fruit. Allow this energy to strengthen every branch, trunk, and root.
Allow this energy to fill your canopy with passion, love, oneness and peace.
Now sit for a while as your allow yourself to be one with your tree. Sit in this space for as long as you like.
