It really depends on your mindset, for example; if you stub your toe the minute you get out of bed are you going to run around all day bitching about it? Your coworkers asking you how you are doing today and you just going into a hissy fit saying you stubbed your toes the minute you woke up and you’re not sure if today could get any worse. Or are you gonna let that be water under the bridge forget it ever happened and when your coworkers ask you how you’re doing, you say amazing because that’s what you choose to focus on, you focus on the amazing and the great. Not the bad, the negative and the pain. Everybody has bad days, it’s just are you going to let it affect you or not. Some of you may recognize this immediately when I say it others may need to look in the mirror. But there are people in your life and in my life that do absolutely nothing but bitch it doesn’t matter if it is 85 degrees sunny and they just won the lottery they have something to bitch about. Raise your hand if you know people like this, it’s like their life revolves around the drama of bitching. I hang out with people from time to time who complain about the same shit they complain about last week. They say it to me like it’s a new story but they’re complaining about the same thing because they enjoy complaining and they can’t come up with new stuff to bitch about. From what I’ve learned/witnessed in my meditations and throughout my life is you need to make a choice. You can choose to hang out with these people who bitch about everything or not. Some of you are probably like me were all’s you have is people that bitch around you. So, for me not hanging out with bitchy people means hanging out with anyone. Which is fine I’m perfectly content on being by myself for a little while if that means I can have a bit of peace in my life.
Let me break it down for you I’ve gone from a completely calm and collective state to an annoyed negative state just by hanging out with the bitchers in my life. Raise your hand if this has happened to you? You go from happy to negative or annoyed just by listening to their bitchy stories. How does this happen? By listening to them bitch, you let yourself and your vibe get pulled down to their level. When this happens, you get pulled to their level and they get pulled to your level, so you guys kind of meet in the middle. Which means you feel like shit and they feel great, like a weight has been lifted off their shoulder, and put on to yours. How do you stop this? Well you could be rude and just turn around and walk away every time they walk up to you. But then you will be the asshole who always runs away from people. So how do you deflect it? Well every time they come up and get ready to bitch, stop them in their tracks. Be assertive and interrupt them, ask them a question. Tell me the best thing that happened to you today? If they say nothing. Ask them what’s the best thing that’s happened to them this week, still nothing? Ask them what they enjoy. If they keep trying to bitch, stop them again and say look I’m sorry but I’m trying to work on myself, trying to better my life and the first thing I’m changing is I’m trying to keep my life as drama free as possible. I’m sorry its not you it’s me, I find myself getting to deep in other people’s drama, that I forget to live my own life. If you make it all your fault and your problem, they will be less likely to treat you like an enemy or an outsider. Some of them will have pity on you, like you are an injured bird, but in reality, they are broken ones. After a little while of doing this you will see that your actions are contagious. And other people will start asking others about the great things that is happening in their lives. Because they have realized that it makes them feel better, focusing on the positive. It will be all because of you and your pursuit of happiness.
This technique you just read is how to keep your vibe high or stay on a higher vibration. Now let’s get you to that higher vibration. It is super simple; the hardest part is not over thinking it. (it’s important to Say this out loud) God, Angels may I please have a new Golden spirit. (if you don’t believe in God or Angels then ask the Universe or the Divine for your new Golden spirit. (Universe may I please have my new golden spirit). Now say it one more time (please give me a new Golden spirit) you will know when you have gotten it because you will become warm or tingly and you may even start to smile. Some of you may feel like you still have a little funk on you, so let’s fix that. Same rules apply as before, say this out loud. God, Angels may I please have a Cleansing ball of White light. Allow this giant ball of white light to settle in, some of you may feel warmth or tingles on the top of your head and arms. Take a couple of minutes and let this blend with your new golden spirit and the energy in your body. Take a few deep breathes in through your nose and out of your mouth pausing for a second or two at the top of the inhale and slowly releasing.
Now that we got your vibe higher and got you feeling a little bit clear it is important to try to stay on this vibe, don’t let other people bring you down. But more importantly don’t let yourself bring you down. Lots of times people will fall back into the same rut because it’s the only way they know. If you are one of these people, save this blog and redo it a couple of times a week and try to focus on the best version of you. Before you know it, the best version of you will appear.
