Man, we made it to another one, good deal
How about some more fun facts on affirmations? You already know how I get them, and why the frequency changes. But did you know that they have a crazy affect if you do them naked verses being clothed? Now I’m not telling you to get naked and stare at yourself in the mirror for my benefit. This is not for the weak of hearted in fact it is very difficult to do. The reason is, unless you have a perfect body. Starring at yourself in a full-length mirror can be very difficult, at least is was for me. You tend to look at all the problem areas you have, which makes you feel self-conscious. Which makes this such a tough exercise.
But if this is a route you think you may want to try; I urge you to do it bit by bit. Maybe start off the beginning of the month with your shirt off and keep your underwear and pants on. Then the next week switch it shirt and underwear stay on pants come off. After a few sessions like that ditch the pants and shirt and keep the underwear on. Just keep the progress going from there.  You can keep it to just staying in your underwear if you like. Or you can go one step further and break it down in your birthday suit.

Now you are probably thinking that I am a crazy little man for even suggesting you do this. Well your right, you must be a little crazy to do what I do. But let me explain the process before you unsubscribe from my email list. By saying these affirmations clothed, you are essentially saying them to a façade.

When you say them to yourself, you are saying them to the real you, but you are camouflaged. Because you are essentially hiding behind your clothes and hiding your true self. In order to truly heal yourself, you must see yourself for who you really are. To give you an example I have always been on the heavy side, since I can remember. Some people will argue and say I’m not fat but, I have always been anywhere from 25 to 50 pounds over weight for my body index and I’m sure heavier at sometimes in my life.

God had me do this very exercise, with out explaining how or why. I was living with my brother in Richmond VA and he was getting ready to move to Florida. God came to me one day and said, you must do this. He said every time you get out of the shower walk into your room throw your towel on the bed and stare at yourself in the mirror for ten to fifteen minutes. Don’t say anything just stare. Look your self up and down, from head to toe, try not to judge and try not to hate. Do this every day until I tell you to stop. Well that was about the longest 6 weeks ever! Just kidding. It was very tough at first but after the second or third week it was super easy.

After wards he explained why I had to do that, and the reason was to get comfortable in me body and with my body. Which then gave me the confidence to finagle my way in to my new apartment.  Then about two years later he had me do it again when I moved to Florida to be closer to my brother. God told me the stand in front of the mirror right after I took a shower and say a list of affirmations to build my confidence to an all-new high so I could land this job that I have now. Sometimes it’s important to see yourself for who you really are before you can rise up to the next level. Its important to love yourself at every stage of the game, if you don’t your leveling up will be much harder and take you a lot longer.

Welcome to July's Positive Affirmations

Wow can you believe it is already July, man time flies when you’re having fun!!

 So, there are a few things I forgot to tell you in the first Positive Affirmation email, if you are new (WELCOME!!) you can catch yourself up on all of my fun content by clicking the link at the bottom of this email.

First thing is that I get all these affirmations while I’m meditating and starring at myself in the mirror. Kind of weird, I know right, but for some reason it works. Along with getting the affirmations I also get how many times to say them and sometimes they tell me how often as well. The frequency and repetition are actually very important in the embedding process. Let me break it down a little bit more for you. Everyone on earth has dark energy in some aspect of their life or in some peoples cases many aspects of their life. By saying these affirmations over and over again you are essentially flushing positive energy through your body and your energic field. When you do this, it makes it harder for the dark energy to hold on to and/or block your energy. Which translates to, you living a happier healthier life. Now who doesn’t want that? Second thing is just because you get a new affirmation from me at the beginning of the month doesn’t mean you have to stop doing the first one or the previous one. Continue doing the ones that resonate with you. As you progress you will begin to understand the frequency of each affirmation, and you can tell which ones really feel good when you say them. Those are the ones that you need to continue to say. After a week or so of doing the new affirmation you can start to play with them a little bit you can add or subtract different phrases the only real trick is if you want get the full effect they need to be a positive phrase.

Welcome to June's Positive Affirmations

OK so I assume since you signed up for my blog. You are interested in spirituality and that you are looking to better your life and kind of find your path. The best way I know to facilitate this is to give you some easy to do exercises rather than bombarding you with a bunch of blogs that you must read through, on a weekly or bi-weekly bases. I am trying to make them entertaining and informational as possible while still keeping them as short and sweet, because I know you are busy and don’t have time to read a 4 or 5 page blog. Two or three times a month, so I’m changing things up a bit. Once a month you will get an email from me with your monthly positive affirmations, then about a week later you will receive my latest blog. About a week after you get the blog you will receive a Spiritual Food for Thought to get your mind thinking more on the spiritual side of things. Then we will end the month with a bang as you can enjoy an audio or video meditation. Which will help increase your vibe and help you better understand just how easy meditation and spirituality really is.

But back to the positive affirmations, I want you to get a post it note or a piece of paper and write down these words and stick it to your bathroom mirror and every time you go in there to brush your teeth I want you to say them 3 to 5 times out loud, really working on believing the words as you say them. The benefit of doing so is you will raise your self-esteem, raise your confidence, enhance your outlook on the world, and raise your vibration. Let me explain this a little bit more by filling yourself with positivity on a daily basis multiple times a day, you are essentially grinding the positivity into your psyche and into your consciousness. Soon after you start doing this your outlook on the world will change, it will go from a negative or unhappy standpoint to a positive and happier outlook, all because you are doing a simple positive affirmation in the morning and evening. Not only will your outlook on the world change but the worlds outlook on you will change. You will be known around the office as the positive upbeat person versus the don’t talk to her because she’s angry and bitchy person. No, I know that may not be you, but I needed to give an example, and everybody knows the angry bitchy person in the world, that no one wants to talk to. Once a month you will get a new positive affirmation to write down and stick up on your mirror. If you’re new to all of this I encourage you to take a chance and give it ago for a couple of months. Then if you don’t like it you don’t have to do them anymore but if you see an increase in self-esteem confidence and self-love then I urge you to continue because you’re spiritual and physical growth will only get bigger and accelerate your progress. The more you do it the better you feel the bigger of a result you will have, the less you do it, the less you’ll feel, and you won’t get much out of it.
